We sometimes talk about social stories to parents and in our trainings. This is a fab guide provided by NeuroWild .
⭐️ New resource ⭐️ This one is about social stories, and how to make sure you’re writing neurodiversity-affirming ones. Note: I do say that social stories are used for neurodivergent kids. I’m sure they areSee more also probably used for neurotypical kids sometimes. That’s neither here nor there. I also say that social stories shouldn’t include behavioural goals or rewards/consequences. If you’ve been following me for a while, this won’t surprise you. I should just get it printed on a shirt and be done with it. The point of social stories is to support students, not control them.
