We have loved our time within the refuge and asylum seeking community, but unfortunately it’s coming to a close to due to funding. We have been fortunate to hear their stories of survival, loss and hope along the way, but before we leave we would like to support them in making connections within their local community. They are seeking opportunities to volunteer within Nelson in either homes for the elderly, shops or schools.
